- good driking water
Low TDS water is not necessarily always good for health. The R.O. system not only removes micro organisms but also the beneficial minerals, especially Calcium, Iron, etc.. In old age presence of Calcium becomes important.
The Reverse Osmosis system is best suited for treating Industrial Wastewaters and should not be used for drinking water purposes. The ideal solution is to boil the water to kill any microrganisms, for about 15 to 20 minutes and then filter it.
An equally efficient way would be to let the water flow through an Ultra Violet Dosing system and then a series of Filtration Units, such as Activated Carbon and Fine Sand Particles (bonded) or a Polymer Filter.
